Leverage Government Subsidies For Maximum Return On Investment

For many, times are hard these days.  The economy has taken a downturn,  politictians on all sides seem only to compound the problem.  Many are without jobs with little hope of finding one in sight.

If you’re going through hard times now, you know exactly what I’m talking about.  You need to do everything you can, to stretch any available resources you may have,  just to survive.  You need to get creative.  Your future is at stake.

If you however, have a job and things are going well for you, and you have some money saved up,  be careful not to become complacent.   You also, could fall victum to hard times, at any moment.  We all must be vigilant,  regardless of our current circumstances.  Things can change for worse overnight.  Plan ahead.  If you are in debt, do everything within your means to get your obligations paid off, as  quickly as possible.

What would you do if the current depressed economy never recovered?  What if you too, would lose your job?  Would you be prepared to endure an extended depression? Plan now for the worst and pray for the best.  In days of old, people were independent, relying only on the skills they and their immediate family possessed for survival.  Today however,  most of us depend on people, far removed from our immediate family and surroundings for the comforts we feel we need for survival.  We must take immediate action to determine how best to take care our needs and those of our loved ones, without relying so heavily on outsiders.  Can you see where I’m going, here?

Determine what the bare minimum needs are for living the way you are accustomed to.  Next decide how you can have those needs met with the least amount of outside help.  For starters, what would you do if you were to lose access to electricity? How would your life be impacted?  I’m sure you can think of many things we all take for granted that would be affected by the loss of power.  Just one of the many things you could do now, if you have the resources, is to provide for an alternative method of power production for future emergencies.  Wind and solar power are two methods the government is currently promoting.

I’m no tax expert and can not provide you with any details, but I’d recommend you consult someone familiar with current tax laws to determine if government subsidies for purchasing wind and or solar energy products might be profitable options for you to consider.  If you were to invest in self-sufficient energy  production and eventually be able to break free of the power grid,  you would be in a far better situation than everyone else who depended on the power grid for their survival.

Do you have money invested in the stock market?  Do you have money in your savings account?  What other forms of investment do you have?  Are you getting a good return on your investment and how safe is your money?  With the government  currently heavily subsidizing wind and solar energy,  your best return on investment may very well be purchasing the necessary equipment to get you off the power grid forever.  With the government incentives,  your final purchase price may be far below the actual cost of the equipment.  Very few investments can compete with the government picking up a large piece of the tab.  If you are in the position to generate excess power, you could even find it profitable to sell the excess to the power companies.  Wouldn’t that be great?

These are just my thoughts.  It just seems to me, it would be better to be prepared for anything than to be overcome when natural or economic disaster strikes.  It’s hard to beat free power provided by the sun or wind!
